Had such a lovely weekend after somewhat of a funky work week - i.e. being in a funk just not being able to produce any good work and trying to find any excuse possible to explain away my anxiety and stress (need a new computer, some new shoes/clothes/makeup so I will become “good enough”).

I was reading this morning about how procrastination and “laziness” really breaks down to a person being overwhelmed by a task that they care a lot about and/or not sure where to start. It really helped me understand my own motivations and moods a lot. And though it doesn’t directly solve my problems, it helped me try to push through to the other side of the tunnel.
